Congratulation for your first time in Kanazawa!
Sightseeing in the city +α

Although it's a super duper basic sightseeing course, you can enjoy with our taxi drivers! All of them are professionals and they help your trip more memorable and full of joy! Weeeell... LET'S GO!

@Kanazawa station
It was changed when the new bullet train (Hokuriku Shinkansen) began services in 2015. This is the side of the entrance called Kenrokuen guchi(it used to be called an east entrance) which has Tsuzumi-mon Gate and Motenashi Dome. Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival (the biggest festival in Kanazawa which is held in the beginning of June) starts from here.

That's cute:)
It says, "Welcome to Kanazawa".

@Kanazawa 21st Century Museum (Kanazawa Niju Isse-iki Bijutsukan)
It's a modern art museum that Kanazawa is proud of. If you call it "Niju Ichi Bi", it sounds like you are a local. It's next to Kanazawa city hall by the way.

The round shape building is cute.

You can see this pool for free. (But you need to pay for going "under" the water.) hmmm It's not "into" but "Under"the water... You'll see;)

@Kanazawa Crafts Hirosaka
It's next to the museum.

There are many traditional goods of Kanazawa. It's beautiful and you would feel like you want to buy something!

The shop is bright and beautiful. There is a gallery upstairs.

Kaga Temari(thread balls)
They were children's toys in the past. How beautiful they are!

Kaga Kebari
How artistic!

Have it on your hands, see it through your eyes, and ENJOY the Kanazawa culture!

The next stop is Kenrokuen garden. Some people have the image of Kanazawa = Kenrokuen garden. Our taxi driver shows you around in the garden!

Everybody can take the great photo with this Kotoji Tourou(stone lantern). What a beautiful view...

It's a statue of Yamatotakeruno Mikoto. Our driver tells you the reason why no birds are on it.

A mysterious stone... What is this? You can get the answer from our driver.

Here we go!
@Higashi Chaya District

You're always amazed by this townscape even in the rain.

You can feel the old Japanese atmosphere from this Kimusuko (lattice bay window). It's difficult to see the inside from the outside but it's easy to see the outside from the inside.

The last stop is Omicho market! It has a history of 280 years. The workers shout with a lot of energy. You can feel the different atmosphere than in the supermarkets.

There are some restaurants in the market, so you can spend a long time here. You can ask our taxi driver where you should go to eat.

By the way, "+α" in the title of this article means the knowledge, technique of driving and talking of our driver!
