We have not only the ordinary taxi but also Jumbo Taxi, Micro Bus and High-class Taxi.

金沢の玄関「金沢駅」。電車から降りたつと別の電車の発車メロディである琴の音が響き渡る。なんとなく金沢らしげ。

You can see this big gate at the east side of the station. This is the side that you can go to Chaya district, the shopping street and many sightseeing spots. The west side is for going to Ishikawa prefecture hall and the ocean.

The locals like to go there because it is a good place to see the view of Kanazawa.

This view is around Kanazawa station. The tall building on the right (far away from here though) is Ishikawa prefecture hall. The tall building on the left is Hotel Nikko Kanazawa and it's next to Kanazawa station.

　

You can see the Higashi Chaya district from above. The street on the bottom right is the main street. We are going to go there!

We were in the higher place than the trees over there earlier.

If you are lucky, you can meet a newly married couple. Everybody celebrate their wedding and the atmosphere is full of happiness.

Well, the next stop is Ozaki shrine, which is near Kenrokuen garden. It was built in Kitanomaru in Kanazawa castle but it was moved here in 1643. The red color is characteristic.　

Every girls love red. (maybe?)

This is one of the best garden in Japan.
Kenrokuen means "Garden of the Six Elements (:spaciousness, seclusion, artifice, antiquity, waterways, and panoramas)"

This is the oldest water fountain in Japan. The water is gone up by natural power.

This is the reason you can have a peaceful time in Kenrokuen. Many gardeners working everyday. This is also "the view of Kenrokuen garden". Thank you for keeping the garden beautiful!

This is Kanazawa castle in front of Kenrokuen garden. The design of the stone wall and the technique of how to make it are amazing.

Once upon a time... Maeda Toshi-ie (a lord of Kaga domain) started building the castle. There were fires sometimes and it was rebuilt. Now it's one of the most popular sightseeing place in Kanazawa, and also some events are held here. It's good feeling to lay down on this grass in good weather. It's also good place for Ohanami (seeing cherry blossom) in spring.

@Tentokuin temple.
You can come here after passing Ishibiki town. The acient people also passed this town when they carried a lot of stone for stone wall of Kanazawa castle. This temple was built for Tamahime who is a wife of Maeda Toshitsune who was the third lord of Kaga domain. It's in the middle of the city but a peaceful place. It has beautiful view in fall when the color of leaves turn to red and yellow.

Nagamachi Buke Yashiki district.
This is also one of the most popular sightseeing spot in Kanazawa. You would feel like you time-traveled to ancient Japan.
