Well, lets's visit 3 great writers in Kanazawa. These three are at Hakutyouro by Kanazawa castle, so let's go greet them.
On the left : Muro Saisei
In the middle : Izumi Kyouka
On the right : Tokuda Syusei
There is a exam called Kanazawa Kentei which is for knowing how much you know about Kanazawa.
And there was a question that says who the person who doesn't wear the Japanese traditional clothes is on that exam.

The surface of the stone monument says about his apricot poetry from Syokei Ijo. He went to Tokyo when he was 17 years old but he never forget his home town, and he wrote "Home is where you reminisce when you are far away and sing with sorrow."

It exhibits his manuscripts and the article left by him. You can see the peaceful Asanogawa river from the upstairs.
The last one is Izumi Kyoka Memorial Museum near Tokuda Syusei Memorial Museum.
Izumi Kyoka always passed this Kuragarizaka hill to go to school.
